The Tanzania Coalition on Debt and Development (TCDD) in collaboration with the African Forum and Network on Debt and Development (AFRODAD) conduct conference Tanzania’s National Debt Management. The conference was held in Dodoma on 26.8.2021 and brought together stakeholders and experts  from the Ministry of Finance and Planning,  Member of Parliaments, members of civil society organizations,  representatives from religious institutions, financial institutions including the World Bank, and the media representatives. The purpose of the conference was to contributing to Pan-African Ideation on public debt – Academic and Research interrogation of debt in Africa from a political, economic, and social drivers’ perspective; and citizen mobilization on public debt linked to strengthened transparency and accountability.
